About

Hi, I’m Lynnae.

The way we work together IS the work.

I've spent 34 years helping social impact organizations do the hardest thing in the sector: turn their equity values into actual culture. As a consultant, coach, and former nonprofit HR and culture leader, I work with EDs, CEOs, and People & Culture teams who are tired of the gap between what they believe and how they operate.

My framework— rooted in Clarity, Consistency, Accountability, and Communication— gives mission-driven organizations the structural and relational tools to stop reacting and start building. I call it loving accountability. My clients call it the thing they'd been missing.

Based in Chicago. Genuinely here for the real work.

"I never need to remind Lynnae to consider our commitments to diversity and equity — she is squarely oriented toward building inclusive organizations."

How I work

  • Fundamental systems change only happens when individuals commit to their own transformation. I believe that— and I've lived it.

My own path toward liberation has been challenging, complex, and sometimes mind-blowing. It's also been joyful, rejuvenating, and healing. I'm still on it.

What I've learned is that tools and policies matter— and they're not enough. The real shift happens in how we work together, how we show up for each other, and how willing we are to look honestly at what we bring into the room.

  • I lead with curiosity, compassion, and radical caring candor. I look for strengths before I look for gaps. I say the thing that needs to be said — with care, and without flinching.

As a white cisgender woman, I hold my whiteness and privilege as an ongoing responsibility — not a box to check. In my work I name how our racial identities, in particular, shape our relationships and the way we operate. I try to model what it looks like to stay in that awareness, keep learning, and keep going.

I call it relational accountability. It's the foundation of everything I do.

  • I've spent my career building cultures where people actually have each other's backs— not as a slogan, but as a daily practice. That means investing real time in relationships, building frameworks and rituals that create consistency and equity, and coaching leaders to do the same.

The result isn't just a better workplace. It's sustained, systems-level change— for organizations and for the individuals inside them.

"Without Lynnae, I would still be wringing my hands. She brings clarity — and the confidence to make the right call."
